    Part-time work: help or obstacle for women’s economic empowerment?

    I know that in different countries there are different legal obligations of employers regarding offer of part-time work for women caring for small children. However, is it really a help? In reality, many women with small children who work part-time are forced to work more hours but for reduced pay. What is your experience around that?
